As part of the expansion, the Turkish company will upgrade several of its manufacturing halls with state-of-the-art equipment and build new halls dedicated to engineered high capacity cryogenic tanks.
"Karbonsan is committed to keeping our manufacturing facilities at the cutting edge of efficiency, reliability and cost-effective operation,” said Turgay Karacalar, Karbonsan Chairman.
"By expanding with new halls and replacing the existing machinery with the new tailor-made equipment, we are able to triple our manufacturing capacity and we expect almost a 60% increase in efficiency.”
"With the new manufacturing lines and new built halls, we will be able to manufacture tanks up to 600m3 with shorter delivery time.”
The expansion is the second for the company following developments in 2015.
